The Robeez slipper range
Our aim? To become a brand that puts shoes on the feet of all your little ones. Robeez is gradually transforming itself by developing its collections of soft booties, perfectly adapted to the development of your baby's feet.
Robeez is based on two pillars: vegetable-tanned leather and natural crepe soles.
Vegetable-tanned leather slippers
Vegetable tanned leather is leather that has been tanned (dyed) using selected plants according to their color and the desired flexibility of the leather.
Robeez vegetable-tanned leather slippers are dyed with vegetable tannins found in wood bark, such as from acacia, chestnut, quebracho and mimosa trees, or in fruit fibres. Tannins derived from sumac and olive leaves, and divi-divi pods are also used.
Vegetable tanning is an age-old dyeing process that does not use solvents or chemicals, unlike chrome tanning. Not only is the leather softer, but baby slippers made with vegetable-tanned leather are gentler on your baby’s feet and respect their well-being.
As it’s a natural process, vegetable tanning also protects the environment and the health of its manufacturers, and its residues are biodegradable and recyclable. All Robeez leather is produced by tanneries audited by Leather Working Group (LWG) to check compliance with European Chemical Agency (ECHA) standards.
Crepe soles
From the Robeez range, discover the line of slippers with soft vegetable crepe soles. Made from natural rubber, these new soles are both flexible and non-slip. The crepe sole insulates your baby's foot to protect it from small obstacles on the floor.
